The Violin Fundamentals Class is your introduction to violin playing. In 60 minutes you will play your first notes on a real violin, understand how to hold the instrument and bow, and get a clear picture of what learning the violin at StringSchool looks like.

If you decide to continue, your £49 counts as a deposit toward the Starter Violin Programme. We will send you a discount code after the class, valid for 21 days.
No violin? No problem
You do not need to own a violin to continue. Studio instruments are available to borrow for Starter Violin Programme sessions too. You could come back the same time next week and pick up exactly where you left off.
As a Starter Programme learner, you are also welcome to repeat the Fundamentals class as many times as you like to make sure the foundations are really solid.
Class times
Saturday classes run from 10am to 11am. Thursday classes run from 6pm to 7pm. Select your preferred date and location above.
Locations
London classes are held near Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Manchester classes are held near Deansgate. Edinburgh classes are held near St Andrew's Square in the New Town. Full venue details are sent on booking.
