Intermediate Violin Course (10 Weeks)

Develop your violin playing from early Grade 3 towards Grade 5 level.

Is this the right course for me?

The Intermediate Course is for players working at around early Grade 3 towards Grade 5 - fluent in first position, with some experience of third position and minor scales. Have a look at "Who is this course for?" below to make sure it's the right fit.

Already play, and want to join at the right level? Book a Trial Pass - come and play with us, and we'll place you at the right point in the curriculum. It's all you need to do.

New to the violin, or coming back after a break? Start with a Fundamentals class - a relaxed way to give the violin a try. When you're ready to commit and get going properly, it leads straight into the Starter Violin Programme, and you'll progress up through the levels from there.

If you already play and want to be sure of your level, the easiest thing is to book a Trial Pass - come and play with us and we'll place you in the right course.

To enrol in this course, you'll need your own violin and bow. We also recommend buying a music stand.

To take part in the Intermediate Violin Course you will need to be playing fluently in 1st position (in time, in tune, with a good sound) and have some basic experience of 3rd position and minor scale patterns.

If you're confident you're at this level, you're welcome to book directly below. If you're not sure, a Trial Pass is the easy way to find out.
